Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of civil engineers and construction personnel, ensuring efficient project execution and delivery.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for assigned civil engineering works.
- Oversee and monitor all civil construction activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and project timelines.
- Coordinate effectively with internal infrastructure (Infra) and Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections and identify potential risks or challenges, implementing mitigation strategies proactively.
- Manage and control project budgets and resources for the assigned civil engineering section.
- Prepare and present comprehensive project reports to senior management.
- Stay updated on the latest civil engineering technologies and construction best practices.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering with 18+ years of relevant experience.
- Proven track record of success in leading and managing civil engineering projects within the Beneficiation, Pellet, or Steel Plant construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and materials.
- Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines effectively.
- Proficient in construction planning and scheduling software (e. , Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Experience working in a fast-paced and demanding construction environment.
