Section Head Business Partner Group - Wealth - Leading NBFC
Responsibilities:
- To be responsible for business through Team Leads (for their direct clients) and Business Partners. Fulfillment of worksites across key accounts like select PSUs, Mid-Market clients etc is done through the RMs. Core products include Mutual Funds, Group Insurance, Loan offerings, Digital Gold, etc.
- The key challenges here are to create a sustainable revenue pattern that enables profitability with scale. The regulatory environment seems to be only working on reducing the total cost outlay across most of these products to benefit the end consumer. The channel and the business have a steep target to make enough money to sustain.
- The fall in revenues forces many BPs to exit the business, especially amongst those who are involved only in the investing piece. Making them scale up as well as offer cross sell products for better revenue sustainability is the key responsibility as well as the challenge for this channel in the years ahead. That will be key to Wealth Retail's sustainability. This fact is complicated by the fact that most of the BPs do not have lending exposures and so are not well versed with the concept. Also, with a challenge in the economy, the lending approval rates are questionable too.
Experience : 15 to 20 + years (PAN Team handling mandatory, someone who has got retail experience and has got the drive for business)
