Role Description :
- Seclore has a unique opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager for Government Vertical.
- This role will be reporting to the AVP SEA.
- Key objectives of the role will be building and managing customers to deliver accelerated business growth and value to all stakeholders.
- This patch will include existing and new large central government, state government, PSU's, ministries, and Defence organisations.
- You will win, maintain, and expand relationships with assigned large organizations and achieving sales, profitability, mindshare, and wallet share in an account.
- You will represent the entire range of company products and services to assigned customers.
Responsibilities :
- You will specifically be responsible for acquiring and managing key strategic accounts in government (central & state) and PSU.
- Employing world-class account management skills to identify opportunities within the target accounts and acquire new logos.
- Be a highly competent presenter, with a proven track record in selling to C level executives.
- Develop and maintain detailed account plans including organisational charts for all accounts to be reviewed by management on a quarterly basis.
- Facilitate communication on strategic and tactical issues facing our clients and partners.
- Maintain continuity and up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technical developments, and governmental regulations that affect target markets.
- Develop market strategies and understand the strategies, goals, and objectives of accounts to create large deals in the assigned accounts.
- Take full responsibility for accurate sales forecasting by demonstrating in-depth knowledge of sales cycles from initial contact through the procurement process.
- Proactively lead an account planning activity with focused partners, internal teams like marketing, customer success teams that develop mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive engagement.
- Work collaboratively with our pre-sales, customer success teams to meet regions sales goals including new logo acquisition and upsell.
- Should be strong in sales hygiene like 3X pipeline of the quota in the financial year, ability to track activities in SFDC and keep the team and management updated.
- For this role primary focus will be hunting and very less focus on farming.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or similar field of study MBA (preferable).
- 12-15 years of direct sales experience managing government/PSU organisations.
- Prior Knowledge of enterprise security industry would be preferable.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver sustainable sales quarter on quarter.
- Proven track record of sales excellence working closely with partners and internal teams.
- Proven and consistent achievement of assigned objectives and quota's.
- Strong verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
- Must have strong attention to detail, metrics, and the ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction, follow-up on own initiative.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills as well as good working knowledge of Microsoft products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and sales force.
- Individual must be team-oriented self-starter with good problem-solving skills and ability to interact positively and successfully with all levels of the company.
- Detail-oriented with high level of accuracy and follow-through.
