To Manage creative resource for Product Development to customer briefs in Savoury category.
To provide technical support to the customers in new product development by testing and recommending Snack & Savoury products for new launches
Review savoury opportunities and C&A tasks for Savoury category.
To create seasonings based on brief from the Customer and support the customer with our Technology in their product development activities.
To have competent in creation and should bases good knowledge on the properties of raw materials used in Seasoning creation.
To meet customers and offer technical support with regard to their end product.
To develop and acquires required technical knowledge and competencies in the area of creation, application and to interact with regional and Global team for technology download.
To undertake cost reduction and optimisation exercise.
To interacts with cross functions like QA, Operations and supply chain on regular basis.
To liaise with sales and development team on an ongoing basis and provide technical support as per their requirements.
To make presentation to customer on quality of seasonings and its applications in snack &savoury end use.
To upgrade knowledge on latest trends in food industry in Indian and International scenario.
To liaise with international technical resources and exchange technical data and strengthen technical relationship.
To identify resources - internal and external so as to enhance technical support regarding seasoning creation.
To liaise with technical institute and seek critical information
To maintain savoury lab & Savoury kitchen and equip the lab & Savoury kitchen to develop prototypes and ensure safe practices.
To train subordinates and upgrade their knowledge from time to time. To provide technical training to the sales team.
To promote sales of existing seasoning by providing suitable technical suggestions to both commercial team and Customer.
To practice TQM and ensure continuous improvements at work by involving all department / division members in small group activities / problem solving exercises and the like.
Basic Criteria:
Experience (Minimum requirement): 4-6 year experience in the area of creation of seasonings for snacks & Savoury application from reputed industries
Academic Qualification:
Minimum entry level is a science degree (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences etc.) Preferable a Master- degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Food Engineering and/or Chemistry Engineering
