Job Description
We at SDP Group of Companies are hiring for the ideal candidate who we are looking for a candidate who excels at supporting the partner ecosystem, handling the client Accounts, and partner program execution including contracts and management of the overall partner initiatives. Someone who propels business through the development of enticing strategic multi-channel campaigns and assisting sales teams with identification of new opportunities and response to requests for information (RFIs) and requests for proposals (RFPs), the role also requires an aptitude for planning, managing and executing public events including third party vendors and taking a leadership role to ensure successful execution including follow up and touch points with attendees in accordance with company standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Project Management:
- Lead and manage multiple consulting projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor progress against these metrics.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including consultants, engineers, data scientists, and IT specialists.
2. Client Engagement:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and ensuring their needs are met.
- Conduct regular status meetings with clients to communicate project progress and address any concerns.
- Develop a deep understanding of client business challenges and provide strategic insights to drive their digital transformation goals.
- Attend meetings, conferences, seminars, workshops, webinars, etc. and submit minutes to the line manager.
3. Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the smart city and urban infrastructure sectors.
- Develop proposals, presentations, and other materials to support business development activities.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to drive engagement growth and expand the client base.
- To prepare sales proposals & presentations for the prospective clients.
4. Consulting and Advisory:
- Provide expert advice and thought leadership on smart city solutions, digital transformation strategies, and urban infrastructure improvements.
- Conduct feasibility studies, gap analyses, and strategic planning to guide clients in their digital journeys.
- Develop innovative solutions and frameworks to address complex urban challenges using digital technologies.
5. System Integration:
- Oversee the integration of various digital solutions and platforms to create cohesive and efficient urban ecosystems.
- Ensure seamless integration of hardware, software, and data systems to optimize urban infrastructure and services.
- Manage relationships with technology partners and vendors to ensure the successful deployment of integrated solutions.
6. Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and mentor project teams, providing guidance, training, and support to foster professional growth.
- Promote a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations and implement strategies to improve team efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Urban Planning, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees (MBA, M.Sc.) are highly desirable.
Experience:
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in consulting, with a focus on smart cities, digital transformation, urban infrastructure, or related fields.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects and engaging with senior-level clients.
- Experience with Technology Architecture, system integration, digital solutions, Marketplaces, Subscription and urban planning.
Skills and Competencies:
- Travel percentage: min 60% within India & overseas.
- Sufficient market knowledge about META, MENA & other related markets, and ability to build rapport with prospective clients.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of smart city technologies, IoT, data analytics, and urban infrastructure systems.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira).
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to travel as needed to client sites and industry events.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or similar are a plus.
