SDM/DGM - Product Control

We have an urgent opening with one of the leading product based Company

Position : DGM (Product Control)

Location : Pune/Hyderabad

Exp : Upto 15years

Job Description:

- The successful candidate will manage a team of associates comprising of Sr Mgrs, Managers, TL's and Anlayst (ranging from 40-50), and obtain exposure to a range of Product Controle  in Fixed Income or Equities or FX.

- The role on offer will involve the high level supervision of all Balance sheet and revenue controls across the relevant business functions.

The successful candidate will be expected to:

- Supervise the daily P&L production and control environment at a Global Business level

- Ensure that all controls are performed in substantiating New Business and Mark to Market (MTM) P&L

- Ensure we comment on variance between adjusted T+1 P&L and T0 Pnl estimate

- Ensure integrity of Financial reporting

- Review of control accounts, daily adjustments etc at a Global Business level

- Ensure Quality of commentaries on large PnL swings, explaining in terms of book risk positions, PnL attributes and economic factors

- Ensure that we sign off on Monthly numbers as per deadline.

- Ensure that all breaks (cash\trade) are cleared during m\e as per the deadline.

- Liaison with Onshore BSRC Team, Finance Controllers, Front-office support, Operations and Global Reporting, to discuss and resolve ad hoc issues concerning bookings, valuations, new business, strategy and other areas

- Meet and exceed the required SLA performance

- Able to contain and reduce the risk of the business measured through multiple KRIs.

- Ensure we have adequate buffer supporting each role

Requirements:

- Understanding of Trade Life Cycle

- Understanding of F2B systems involved in Investment Banking

- Understanding of various Fixed Income, Equities and FX products (experience to reflect in any of the three categories)

- Understanding of Greeks\Market Risk

- Understanding of controls involved in F2B operations

- Understanding of Pnl Attribution process and its purpose

- MTM calculations with and w\o factors

- Purpose of various Controls accts like Suspension and Valuations
