Scry AI - Business Analyst - Finance

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze financial statements, forecasts, and budgets to provide actionable insights.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify financial risks and opportunities.

- Assist in financial modeling, variance analysis, and cost optimization.

- Develop and maintain financial dashboards, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

- Support the implementation of process improvements and automation initiatives in financial operations.

- Conduct market research and competitive financial analysis to inform strategic planning.

- Facilitate communication between finance, business units, and senior management.

- Accounts Payable (AP) Analysis: Assist in monitoring AP transactions, ensuring timely payments, and identifying discrepancies.

- Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors to resolve payment issues and optimize vendor relationships.

- Invoice Processing: Review and analyze invoices, payment approvals, and expense tracking for accuracy and compliance.

- Reconciliation: Support month-end and year-end reconciliations for accounts payable and financial reporting.

- Compliance & Controls: Ensure adherence to financial policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Educational Background: MBA (Finance) / B.Com (Finance, Accounting, or Business Analytics preferred).

- Experience: 1-3 years in financial analysis, business analysis, accounts payable, consulting, or a related field.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or other financial data visualization tools.

- Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present financial insights effectively.

- Attention to Detail: Ability to handle large datasets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.

- Project Management: Experience in working with cross-functional teams and managing financial projects.

- ERP Systems: Experience with AP automation tools or ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Netsuite is a plus
