About the company: A financial services technology company offering a cloud-based, end-to-end lending platform to deliver innovation to the global lending community. Unlike legacy technology platforms that are expensive to maintain and prevent agile response to market conditions, our clients take back control of their business by quickly implementing, extending, and digitizing the entire lending lifecycle. Clients include banks, traditional finance companies, online lenders, and marketplace platforms.
We are looking for subject matter experts (SME) to join our newly formed Leasing Industry Solution team. The Industry Solution teams report to the CTO and have responsibilities in the following broad categories:
Product Strategy :
- Help define company's product strategy through clearly differentiated value proposition.
- Provide thought leadership within and outside the company on specific industry verticals such as banking, leasing and alternative finance.
Revenue :
- Drive revenue in the specific industry verticals through cross-functional contributions in pre-sales, and delivery.
- Participate in discovery sessions during pre-sales, and perform the gap analysis between product and process.
- Provide business consulting to prospects and customers on process re-engineering, solution design and best practices.
Product Marketing :
- Provide sales enablement by communicating the value proposition of products to the sales team and develop sales tools such as collateral that support the selling process.
The Sr. Business Consultant has the following responsibilities:
1. Pre-Sales :
a. Provide subject matter expertise during the pre-sales cycle by articulating business value of the solution to prospects.
b. Perform discovery, business analysis, & product gap analysis.
c. Provide business process re-engineering and workflow optimization advice to prospects.
2. Implementation:
a. Work with customers to achieve optimal use of the solution for their business case.
b. Shape the client's vision and strategy, and develop solutions that solve problems specific to their business.
c. Be the bridge between business requirements and technical implementation by providing solution blueprint to technical resources in implementation.
d. Determine whether the thing should be custom vs configuration.
Requirements :
1. Advisory/operational experience on underwriting tools, credit risk, borrower assessment, determining collateral requirements, drafting business and corporate policies, etc.
2. Strong knowledge of processes related to operations of a leasing business.
3. Operational experience in business process re-engineering and workflow optimization.
4. Operational experience in consulting with large and complex enterprise software deployments involving multiple stakeholders and shifting requirements.
5. Must be passionate about technology and its impact on financial services.
6. (Nice to have) Experience with SaaS technologies.
7. (Nice to have) Advisory/operational experience on structured finance transactions such as securitization and syndication.
