Job Title : Supply Chain Management Professional

Job Location : Vadodara (Baroda), Gujarat

Job Description :

The role holder will be heading the supply chain function at the unit and is responsible for all the inbound, in plant and outbound logistics. The primary responsibilities include

- Co-ordinate with sales and production function for on time delivery of finished products to OEMs and distributors (Demand Planning & Management)

- Manage inbound logistics such as transportation of raw materials ( Steel, proprietary items etc.), imported raw materials (machined components) and semi finished/half finished products from outsourced/contract/third party manufacturing.

- Manage outbound logistics for finished products to Auto OEMs and distributors spread across India.

- Maintain raw material and semi finished/finished product inventory at optimum level.

- Minimise logistics cost by actively negotiating and contracting with the transport contractors and vendors.

- Warehouse Management

Our client is looking for a candidate , who has

- 7-12 years of experience in supply chain function of Auto/ Auto ancillary units

- Education qualification of BE from premium institute with MBA ( NITIE preferred) or Post Graduation in Material management.
