Job Role/Title: Regional Technical Sales Manager


Job Description:


Position Summary:


- The Regional Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for creating, deploying, planning, and executing technical sales and business development for ETAP solutions in designated industries and regions.


- The role involves recommending ETAP product solutions, cultivating new relationships, and maintaining current customer relationships.


Key Responsibilities:


Technical/Application Sales:


- Drive regional sales performance and achieve targets.


- Create and execute sales plans and strategic initiatives.


- Identify sales opportunities and ensure target achievement.


- Conduct ETAP solution presentations.


- Manage regional sales processes and customer feedback.


- Develop sales proposals and manage contracts.


- Collaborate with global sales and engineering teams.


- Develop new sales leads and maintain customer relationships.


- Implement service sales strategy for ETAP Real-Time solutions.


- Conduct workshops and propose new applications with ETAP experts.


Business Development:


- Integrate ETAP products into targeted industries.


- Convert customer needs into engineering specifications.


- Position ETAP solutions in specifications and bids, position in vendor list.


- Promote upgrades to ETAP Real-Time.


- Generate sales leads and explore new market opportunities.


- Establish long-term customer relationships.


- Develop regional partnerships and maintain industry awareness.


- Represent ETAP at technical events and conferences.


- Provide industry reports and strategic input.


Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


- 10+ years of experience in technical sales and application engineering.


- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals. Knowledge of electric power systems and business processes.


- Experience with ETAP or similar software.


- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Open to travel as and when required.


Education:


- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering with emphasis in Power Systems.


- Master's degree in business management with specialization in sales and marketing preferred.
