- Industry & Function Overall Experience 15 yrs exp in Solution and technical sales

- Experience of working in IT industry / Energy management Industry

- Strong technical background, experience in working with end-to-end electrical product lines.

- Experience in handling IT Divison product lines (preferable)

- Managed End Users Sales. Segment commercial & process knowledge

- Business Experience :Experience in handling P&L . Knowledge on pricings

- Understanding Market potential and positioning of product lines

- End to end understanding of Supply Chain, manufacturing, operations and engineering /On the ground experience.

- Understanding of segment value creation & articulation .Understanding of complete project cycle.

Project/ Program Management:

- Experience of working in Matrix set up , specially working with Line oF Businesses

- Building High Performance Team (including virtual)

- Relationships :Supply Chain/Manufacturing/ R&D/Customer Support C level customer relationship

- Handling high caliber specialists/ Key communities of experts like Solution Architects and Specialist engineers

- Relationship with Consultants / Business Agents

- Collaboration with others N-1 & N-2 leaders, BU & Functional Heads, Project tendering team Relationships

- Industry Bodies- Segment & Market research companies.

Market and Environment :


- Global and country Segment & Competition trends Indian Political, Social, Economic environment, Forex and its impact on Business decisions, Regulatory environment

- Understanding of IT Industry , IT industry transformation (eg. Virtualization and cloud) Trends on IT hardware distribution

- Understand market sizing and Competition movements. Government Policy

- Customer's business processes and business model

- Internal Knowledge Familiarity with one schneider product portfolio

- Understand LOBs

- Product/system/solutions offer, pricing, Internal References/ Group experiences

- Business and People Processes (Finance, Logistic, Customer Satisfaction, HR)

- Technical and Professional Knowledge of electrical and IT technical understanding
