Job Description
- Experience in Project Supply Chain.
- Leading & facilitating collaboration across Pan India sales teams and back end supply teams to maximize customer service (material availability & OFR) while balancing inventory & working capital
- Review order fill rates, prioritize pending orders, Review & ensure product mix availability as per target by aligning supply & dispatches
- Driving adherence to promise date through regular review and issue resolution
- Drive long term capacity planning & Monthly S&OP process with leadership & work to seamlessly integrate Business Planning with Supply Chain Planning
- Ensure rigor & compliance in monthly Demand Planning process for both MTO & MTS material with focus on continuous improvement through deep dive analysis, reviews, actions & training
- Drive monthly & quarterly supply planning process with review of operation plans, weekly prioritizations, plant & vendor schedules, monitor adherence to plans, review allocation of stocks, monitor dispatches & analyze and identify gaps and drive course correction
- Be responsible for inventory management including defining inventory, network & fulfillment strategy as per SKU classification, regularly define, review & revise safety stock norms as per strategy & drive liquidation of aging stock
- Collaborate with product team to drive SKU management & life cycle including introduction, timely phase out, in-out policy, identification & rationalization of obsolete SKUs
- Driving common processes, disciplines, systems & metrics across planning function by leveraging ERP and advanced planning systems to drive operational excellence
- Continuously strive to improve the defined KPIs by monitoring, compliance & re-defining processes & systems
Skills required
- 10-15 years of Supply chain experience with key focus on Planning & Logistics in progressively senior positions
- Be responsible for all areas of Supply Chain with focus on Planning & Distribution of stock
- Have considerable knowledge of financial, quantitative & analytical skills with understanding of P&L
- Ability to work in multi-functional teams and liaison with multiple stakeholders including but not limited to Front end sales teams, HO product teams, Plant, Purchase, Supply Chain leadership, Finance, Logistics & Warehousing
- Exhibit in depth knowledge of latest supply chain planning processes & best practices to drive business continuity/plans towards achievement of targets
- Have strong hands on team building, people management, interpersonal, stakeholder management, leadership and coaching skills
- Preferably Engineer with Post Graduation in Business Management
- Experience in Electrical Lighting industry will be an added advantage.
