SBU Head - Multiple Projects - High Rise/Township - South India Region

Position Description:

Designation: SBU head to handle multiple projects for High Rise / Township for South Region

Qualification: Civil Engineering from Premium Engg. College

Location: Bangalore

Strategic

- To prepare planning document detailing the project plan and interface of various agencies and or departments in the execution with the milestones for the individual agency / department

- To prepare project execution philosophy through involvement of the concerned so as to ensure meeting the project completion criterions

- Organizing and participating in management review meetings and making presentation on major issues

Operational

- Responsible for project planning, scheduling and monitoring the project activities

- Responsible for developing project process and performance schedules

- To generate data and analysis to support strategic property planning, approvals

- Oversee & guide team members at senior level in terms of planning, organizing resources, setting standards of quality, etc

- To document costing of physical assets, improve operations through Value engineering initiatives, and efficiently plan for the future

- To document capital projects efficiently through approval processes and to ensure regulatory compliance, minimizing risk

- To monitor the project execution progress based on the actual Vs planned. Highlight the deviations for proactive measures of damage control

Financial

- Finalize department budget and ensure adherence to the same

- Ensure minimal expenditure on obtaining licenses and approvals

People

- Conduct performance appraisals on departmental staff / personnel. Assess and fulfill training and career development requirements

- Coach subordinates to develop the team's capabilities and build a strong succession pipeline for the role
