About the job:
- We are looking for a Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in the domestic market, specifically targeting government clients for Guwahati location.
- This role involves identifying opportunities, engaging with government agencies, and driving sales from prospecting to deal closure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with government agencies.
- Understand and navigate government procurement processes.
- Identify potential government clients and assess their needs.
- Develop strategies to generate leads and convert them into sales.
- Meet with clients to understand their requirements.
- Conduct needs assessments to offer tailored solutions.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align on sales objectives.
- Present and demonstrate our solutions to government clients.
- Customize presentations to address specific client needs.
- Lead contract negotiations and close deals.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from proposal to final agreement.
- Ensure client satisfaction and address any post-sale issues.
- Look for opportunities to upsell additional services.
- Prepare sales reports and track performance against targets.
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelors/Master degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 8+ years of sales experience, preferably with government clients.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience with CRM tools is a plus.
