SBICAP Securities - Research Analyst - Institutional Equity Research - Telecom/Media

- The person is required to initiate and enhance coverage of institutional equity research in Telecom & Media sectors. He/She needs to keep the coverage and recommendations concurrent.

- The person will need to interact with clients, build relationships and work on related assignments in the financial, equity/debt markets. The relationships also need to be developed with senior management of companies within the sector.

- The person will collate/assimilate macro environment data from various sources such as company annual reports, TRAI, industry associations, government, stock exchanges etc.

- The person has to analyse such data and make financial and operational forecasts based on reasonable assumptions and observed trends. Developing a valuation model thereof is also needed.

- Ability to read and interpret financial statements (chiefly annual reports) together with their notes and to make financial forecasts is a desired pre-requisite.

- Any existing relationships among DIIs/FIIs will be welcome. Ability to work with spread sheets & presentations and possessing sound computer skills are important.
