Job Description:

- The National Sales Manager will be responsible for leading the sales team and developing sales strategies to increase revenue and market share in the Shipping and Logistics Freight Forwarding industry.

- This role requires a deep understanding of the freight forwarding market and experience in managing sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share

- Lead, motivate and manage the sales team to achieve individual and team targets

- Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with key accounts

- Analyze market trends and competitors to identify opportunities for growth

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including operations, finance, and customer service teams

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of sales plans

- Conduct sales meetings and trainings to ensure the team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to achieve sales targets

- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the Management.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's/ master's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field

- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Sales in the Shipping and Logistics Freight Forwarding industry

- Proven track record in developing and executing successful sales strategies

- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key accounts

- Analytical and strategic thinking with the ability to identify market trends and opportunities

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM software
