Position Overview:
- As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our presence and driving growth within the city.
- Your primary responsibility will be to identify, approach, and onboard new partners and merchants to our platform, ensuring they understand and effectively use the SaveIN product suite.
- This position requires a dynamic individual with a strong field sales background and the ability to manage the entire sales process from initial contact to successful onboarding.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner Outreach and Onboarding:
- Identify potential partners and merchants across the city who could benefit from the SaveIN platform.
- Initiate contact and establish relationships with these partners, guiding them through the onboarding process.
- Collaborate closely with supervisors and team members to manage and optimize the end-to-end sales funnel.
Product Demonstration and Training:
- Conduct comprehensive demonstrations of the SaveIN product suite to prospective partners.
- Provide training to the partner and their staff to ensure they are proficient in using the platform.
Sales Opportunity Generation:
- Explore and penetrate various targeted domains to discover and originate new sales opportunities for SaveIN's products and services.
- Use a variety of strategies to create and nurture leads, including networking, referrals, and direct outreach.
Sales Pitch and Presentation:
- Develop and deliver compelling sales pitches to potential partners.
- Utilize presentations, demo videos, and other materials to showcase the benefits and features of SaveIN's offerings.
- Act as a knowledgeable expert in the product, market, and domain during all interactions with prospective partners.
Systematic Follow-Up:
- Implement a structured follow-up process to ensure timely and effective closure of sales opportunities.
- Address any questions or concerns raised by healthcare practitioners or merchants throughout the sales process.
Query Resolution:
- Provide prompt and effective solutions to merchant and customer queries related to key business processes.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by resolving issues in a timely manner.
Achievement of Sales Targets:
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets as outlined in the sales plan.
- Monitor performance against targets and adjust strategies as needed to ensure goals are met.
Preferred Experience & Attributes:
Field Sales Experience:
- Proven experience in field sales is essential.
- Candidates with a strong internal sales background who are eager to transition into field sales roles may also be considered.
Sales Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to prospect, educate, qualify, and generate interest in sales opportunities.
- Expertise in closing deals and achieving sales goals is crucial.
Individual Contributor:
- Ability to work independently and drive sales activities within the assigned region.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with partners, merchants, and clients.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills to navigate complex sales situations and achieve successful outcomes.
Vehicle Requirement:
- Must have access to a personal vehicle for travel within the assigned region.
