We have a very competitive and proven line of offerings starting from Airport Transfers to Hourly Rentals and Intercity cabs. We have been getting tremendous response from retail customers both in terms of our growth and the service feedback. On the back of this excitement, we are continuously working towards accelerating our growth further by bringing even better value to our customers. This position is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual, with a proven track record in a Business Development role to grow our Partnerships vertical for Savaari. We have a flourishing partnership vertical already with the likes of MakemyTrip, Yatra as our partners. The traction that we have seen thus far in terms of the value that we provide to our Partners makes us want to double our efforts to grow this vertical. One of the levers in doing so is a strong focus on the Travel Agents demographic who can benefit immensely with our offerings. These would be both the very large ones (who can integrate with our rich APIs) as well as the Small and Medium ones (who can use our intuitive Travel Agent platform). As we speak, we are currently piloting the Car Booking platform for Small and Medium Travel Agents.
The person will lead and be responsible for achieving our ambitious growth plans. Apart from building and leading a team of Sales Agents, this role will be about collaborating with various stakeholders to fine tune our Solution for the partner. We are looking for a very dynamic person to fill this position.
The primary responsibilities will be:
1) Forming new partnerships as well as building strategy for realizing true potential of existing Partners. These partnerships could be the big Travel Agents (both online and offline ones) as well as other strategic players.
2) Building a plan and executing it to perfection through Sales Agents to promote Car Booking platform to Small and Medium Travel Agents.
3) Monitoring and reporting performance to the Senior Management Team.
4) Working closely with the Tech and Operations Team to ensure successful smooth delivery of services to customers and partners.
5) Taking ownership of monthly and quarterly revenue targets for the growth channels. A go-getter who can deliver results and plan ahead for contingencies.
6) Establish a process to capture and convert leads through sales pipeline.
7) Represent Savaari in trade events to establish our presence and use this as an effective channel for business building.
Desired Skills and Experience:
1) 2+ years' Business Development or B2B Sales role and 3-4 years overall professional experience.
2) MBA from a tier 1 business school or Bachelor's degree from premier Technology Institute.
3) Proven track record in growing business revenue by meeting and exceeding hard KPIs.
4) Experience in travel vertical is not mandatory but will be an added advantage.
5) Work experience with growth stage start-ups will also be an added advantage.
