Sathguru is looking to hire a highly skilled Socio-Economic Expert with expertise in grant proposal development and socio-economic impact assessments. The expert will analyze and assess the socio-economic of various projects, policies, and initiatives. The candidate should have a strong background in economics, social sciences, and grant writing, along with the ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
Grant Proposal Development:
- Lead the development and writing of grant proposals with a lens to socio-economic across sectors.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify funding opportunities and develop compelling grant narratives.
- Ensure proposals meet all requirements and deadlines set by funding agencies.
Socio-Economic Impact Assessments:
- Conduct thorough assessments of the potential socio-economic impacts of the interventions in awarded projects.
- Utilize quantitative and qualitative methods to analyze data and generate insightful impact assessments.
- Develop reports and presentations to communicate findings to project stakeholders and decision-makers (both internal and external).
Research and Analysis:
- Stay updated on current socio-economic trends, policies, and best practices related to grant funding and impact assessments.
- Conduct research and analysis to support evidence-based decision-making and policy development.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate socio-economic perspectives into project planning and evaluation.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Engage with stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, community groups, and funders, to gather input and feedback on proposed projects.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to foster collaboration and support for socio-economic initiatives.
Candidates Profile:
- Master's or Ph.D. in Economics, Sociology, Public Policy, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in grant proposal development, with a track record of securing funding for socio-economic projects.
- Expertise in socio-economic impact assessment methodologies, including cost-benefit analysis, social return on investment (SROI), and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations, compliance standards, and ethical considerations in socio-economic research and - grant writing.
- A willingness to travel as and when required.
