Quality Manager
- Ensures quality standards are met at each stage (incoming, process and outgoing) to fulfill customer expectations
- Drives implementation of relevant quality and EHS systems at the plant
- Facilitates internal and external audits for quality, customers and EHS aspects
- Implementation of AS9100 QMS, Establishment of quality system procedures, Documents and records, Customer complaint Handling & Internal NC Handling and follow-up of actions, Conducting IQA, Product & Process audit, decision on quality issues, Good in Inspection Methodology.
- Leading and assisting team of Engineers and Inspectors.
- Job allocation and monitoring.
- Establishment and Implementation of AS9100 quality system requirements & generation of quality system documents and records
- Closure of AS 9100 audit NC's of surveillance audits
- Lead cross-functional team involving in root cause analysis for In-House nonconformity.
- New product developments with FAI
- Good Knowledge of GD & T.
- Calibration monitoring of measuring instruments and gauges.
- Customer complaint handling and N.C Product analysis.
- Analysis and control of internal Non-conformity.
- Conducting internal quality audit (IQA) and follow-up for NC closure.
- Establishing process and product audit plans and conducting as per plan
- Analysis of non quality cost for internal NC parts
- Planning and conducting MRM and follow-up of the actions.
- Resolving issues pertaining to quality,
- Providing training to subordinates, review of performance of the team members periodically.
- Coordinating with customer and also with supplier regarding quality issues
- Reporting to top management on quality status
- Supplier evaluation, supplier performance monitoring, supplier audits and follow-up for the actions
- Expertise in Global Best practices- ISO9000, TL9000, AS9100, ISO/TS 16949, 8D problem solving, 'Poke yoke', LEAN Six Sigma
- Additional Expertise :International Quality Standards like ISO 9000, QS9000, TS16949
- Environmental Management System ISO 14000
- Certified Internal Quality Auditor for TS16949 and ISO 14000
- Application of APQP techniques and Project Management
- Application of FMEA in process Design
- Total Quality Management System and PDCA approach
- Development of Control plan & Application of SPC
- Corrective and Prevention actions through 8D technique
- Customer audits, Subcon Quality system Development
- SWOT analysis & Goal setting process
- Six sigma Black Belt& Lean Manufacturing system
