SAS Manager

To work with a multi-disciplinary team with responsibility of analyzing real world patient level data (healthcare claims data, electronic medical record data and other APLD) using SAS or other data processing tools. Require to:

- Develop, implement and manage holistic strategies for APLD data analysis (analysis plan, business rules, SAS coding, documentation, approval, monitoring and reporting), in collaboration with Life Sciences domain experts and other analysts.

- Determine how data is structured and locate data elements of interest.

- Put together specifications to extract/transform data into required formats for different analytical elements using SAS or other data processing tools.

- Analyze the output to present insights.

- Incorporate operational definitions and conceptual system designs to create algorithms to meet business reporting and analytics needs.

- Create the foundation for more sophisticated approaches to APLD analysis and advanced analytics where beneficial.

Education, Experience & Skill Sets:

1. M. Sc in Statistics/Economics/Mathematics with 8+ years hands-on experience in SAS programming (Base / Advanced) with SAS Macro capabilities

2. Real time project experience with handling large volume of Clinical/EMR/Claim database

3. Demonstrated competence with basic Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

4. Experience of working with cross functional teams

5. Good communication and interpersonal skills

6. Conceptual, analytical & tactical thinking, strategic thought process

7. Ability to multi-task, work in a demanding global team environment, work under tight deadlines

8. Develop and maintain strong individual and team performance

9. Good knowledge of life sciences domain
