As a Technical Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for providing technical assistance to users, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of technology systems, while also maintaining accurate records and escalating complex problems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:

- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, networks, and computer systems.

- Use a systematic approach to identify the root cause of problems and implement effective solutions.

- Escalate complex issues to higher-level support when necessary.

- Customer Interaction:

- Communicate clearly and empathetically with users, both technical and non-technical, to understand their needs and provide appropriate support.

- Answer phone calls, emails, and in-person requests for assistance.

- Keep users informed about the status of their issues and the progress of resolution.

- Technical Knowledge and Skills:

- Maintain a strong understanding of hardware, software, operating systems, and networking technologies.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.

- Be proficient in using diagnostic and troubleshooting tools.

- Documentation and Record Keeping:

- Accurately document all interactions with users, including the nature of the issue, the steps taken to resolve it, and the outcome.

- Maintain accurate records of hardware and software inventory.

- Other responsibilities:

- Providing technical assistance with equipment operation.

- Setting equipment parameters.

- Proficiency with basic computer programs including MS Office and database systems
