Sap Sales Distribution Consultant

About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of SAP SD functionalities, strong implementation experience, and a proven track record of delivering successful projects. You will be responsible for configuring, customizing, and supporting the SAP SD module, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.

Responsibilities:

SAP SD Implementation and Configuration:

- Lead and participate in end-to-end SAP SD implementations, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, and go-live.

- Configure and customize SAP SD modules to meet specific business needs, including sales order processing, delivery management, billing, pricing, and master data management.

- Design and implement solutions for sales processes, including order-to-cash, returns, and credit management.

- Configure and maintain pricing procedures, condition types, and discounts.

- Configure and manage delivery processing, including shipping, transportation, and output determination.

- Configure and manage billing processes, including invoice creation, output determination, and revenue recognition.

S/4 HANA Expertise :

- Demonstrate hands-on experience with SAP S/4 HANA implementation and configuration.

- Leverage S/4 HANA functionalities to optimize sales and distribution processes.

- Stay updated with the latest S/4 HANA features and best practices.

GST Compliance :

- Possess in-depth knowledge of Goods and Services Tax (GST) compliance requirements in the relevant region.

- Configure SAP SD to ensure accurate GST calculations and reporting.

- Stay updated with changes in GST regulations and implement necessary system adjustments.

Integration and Collaboration:

- Integrate SAP SD with other SAP modules, such as MM (Materials Management), FI (Financial Accounting), and CO (Controlling).

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business users, developers, and other SAP consultants.

- Provide clear and concise communication to stakeholders at all levels.

- Post-Implementation Support and Troubleshooting:

- Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting for SAP SD issues.

- Conduct root cause analysis and implement effective solutions.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation.

- Provide training to end users.

Business Process Understanding:

- Demonstrate a strong understanding of business processes related to sales, distribution, and customer management.

- Translate business requirements into effective SAP SD solutions.

Qualifications:

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (BBA), Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- MBA is a plus.

Experience:

- Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP SD Consultant.

- Proven experience in multiple full lifecycle SAP SD implementations.

- Strong experience with SAP S/4 HANA.

Technical Skills:

- Expertise in SAP SD module configuration and customization.

- In-depth knowledge of sales order processing, delivery management, billing, pricing, and master data management.

- Strong understanding of SAP SD integration with other SAP modules.

- Experience with SAP ABAP debugging and basic development is a plus.
