Retail Manager
Job Description:
- The SAP-IS Retail Manager plays an important role in the success of the Target SAP COE Team.
- This individual will be working with business owners, implementation partners and technical and quality testing teams and will be responsible for the delivery of strategic projects delivered by IT.
- The individual will also be responsible for establishing and advocating global standards, processes, and procedures. This individual will be responsible for managing the Retail Team & developing relations with Vendor Partnet and Target MPLS team.
Responsibilities
- Liaison between business process owners and implementation partners
- Participate in the business blueprint design workshops and provide expert guidance on solution designing
- Responsible for configuring the systems to deliver solutions
- Responsible for subsequent system enhancement and support process improvements in a onsite – offshore model
- Responsible for converting business requirements into functional specifications and provide guidance to development team to understand the business requirements and translate them into solutions
- Work with the Accenture SAP team for developing and implementing test strategy, hands on testing and documenting. Develop relations with ACC Team
- Provide functional testing team with inputs to create integration, regression test cases, review and validate results.
Requirements
- Overall experience of 10+years with minimum 7+years of experience in SAP IS Retail. Good working knowledge of SAP ECC, POS & POSDM modules.
- Hands-on experience in SAP IS Retail components – Master Data, Assortment Management, Retail Pricing, Promotions & Bonus Buys, Purchasing, Merchandise Logistics, SAP Retail Store, POS Interface, ALE, IDocs.
- Excellent ability to translate business solutions into functional logic and to test scripts
- Experience in test planning, translation of requirements into test cases, creation of simple, complex, regression scenarios, execution of test scenarios, management and reporting of defects and of test results
- Strong understanding of release and change management process
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong Solutioning skills
- Excellent work standards, highly motivated, team player, action oriented with continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with vendor teams and internal customers
- Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent experience
- Good Team Management skills
