Job Description :
Designation: SAP HR& PY Consultant
Experience: 8+ years
Location: Remote
Responsibilities :
- Lead and participate in full lifecycle SAP HR and Payroll implementation projects, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Gather and analyze client business requirements related to HR and Payroll processes.
- Design and configure SAP HR modules, including but not limited to Organizational Management (OM), Personnel Administration (PA), Time Management (TM), and Benefits.
- Design and configure SAP Payroll (PY) processes, including wage types, deductions, garnishments, taxation, and statutory compliance.
- Develop and maintain detailed functional specifications and technical documentation.
- Configure SAP HR and Payroll systems based on business requirements and best practices.
- Conduct system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the solution meets client needs.
- Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for SAP HR and Payroll issues.
- Develop and deliver end-user training materials and conduct training sessions.
- Collaborate with technical teams for custom development, integrations, and reporting requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP HR and Payroll functionalities, updates, and legal requirements.
- Participate in the development of best practices and methodologies for SAP HR and Payroll implementations.
- Work independently and proactively in a remote setting, managing tasks and meeting deadlines effectively.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and clients across different time zones.
- Potentially lead small teams or work streams within larger projects.
- Contribute to pre-sales activities such as solution demos and proposal development.
Skills Required (SAP HR & PY Focus):
- Extensive hands-on experience in configuring and implementing SAP HR modules:
- Organizational Management (OM): Organization Structure, Org Units, Positions, Jobs, Relationships.
- Personnel Administration (PA): Employee Data Management, Actions, Infotypes.
- Time Management (TM): Absence Management, Attendance Management, Work Schedules, Time Evaluation.
- Benefits: Benefit Plans, Enrollment, Eligibility Rules.
- Deep understanding and configuration experience in SAP Payroll (PY):
- Payroll Schema and Rules.
- Wage Type Configuration.
- Deduction and Garnishment Processing.
- Tax and Social Insurance Configuration (specific to relevant country versions).
- Payroll Posting to Finance.
- Year-End Processing and Reporting.
- Experience with SAP HR and Payroll reporting tools and functionalities.
- Familiarity with SAP Query and SAP BW/BI for HR and Payroll data analysis.
- Understanding of SAP security concepts and authorization roles related to HR and Payroll.
- Experience with SAP Solution Manager for project management and documentation.
- Knowledge of integration points between SAP HR/PY and other SAP modules (e.g., FI, CO) and external systems.
- Experience with SAP HCM Processes and Forms is a plus.
- Exposure to SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll is a plus.
Functional Skills:
- Strong understanding of core HR and Payroll business processes and best practices.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
- Experience in conducting workshops and gathering requirements from business stakeholders.
- Proficient in creating functional specifications and design documents.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex HR and Payroll-related issues.
- Knowledge of relevant labor laws and regulations (depending on target country versions).
Process Skills:
- Experience with full lifecycle SAP implementation methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, especially in a remote setting.
- Ability to manage tasks independently and prioritize effectively.
- Experience with testing methodologies and tools.
- Familiarity with change management processes.

Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience as an SAP HR & Payroll Consultant.
- Proven track record of successful SAP HR and Payroll implementations and support engagements.
- Experience working directly with clients in a consulting role.
- SAP HR and/or Payroll certifications are highly preferred.
- Experience working in a remote setting and managing remote projects is a significant advantage.
