SAP FICO Consultant - ECC 6.X

Job Role :

Provides specialist level functional and configuration knowledge in designing SAP solutions in the FICO modules

- Ability to help resolve complex issues and independently manage critical/complex situations.

- Lead and coordinate the work of a small team

- Provides leadership in the development of functional skills in others through active knowledge sharing

- Ensure the integrity of the finance configuration of the SAP system across multiple

Implementation :

- Should have sound configuration knowledge of master data, GL, AP, AR, Asset accounting and Cash and Bank accounting including new GL accounting, automatic payment programs and closing cockpit.

- Should have sound configuration knowledge of cost element, cost centre, internal order, product costing, profitability analysis and profit center accounting.

- Understand dependency between FI and CO and other logistics modules.

- Understands configuration dependencies and interrelationships between separate functional modules of SAP and provide financial expertise into the definition and resolution of issues in this area with this knowledge

- Conducts or participates in user requirements gathering, blueprinting & documentation designs.

- Ensure compliance to existing, and development of required data and reporting standards.

- Conduct configuration changes to accommodate change requests and prototype activities.

- Demonstrate proof of concept & assist in training activities

Perform initial testing of problem fixes, change request, enhancements, and new functionality.

- Work with the Service Desk to facilitate incident & problem resolution.

- Work with SAP to resolve software bugs. Keep abreast of SAP releases, enhancements/new functionality and perform application research.

- Participate in release upgrade or new functionality / enhancement assessments and make recommendations. Perform break/fix analysis and recommend solutions for finance related processes.

- Develops functional specifications and works with BASIS and ABAP personnel resources to complete object development and testing

Support :

- Support production configuration and assist in functional change requests.

- Support business implementations by sharing best practice configuration skills.

- Assist with responding to user requirements, problem resolution, develop designs, and process modeling

Job Qualification and Skillsets :

- A university degree in Commerce/Accounting/Software. CA / ACCA Certification Preferred

- Certification in SAP (ECC 6.x) / Min. 4 Full Cycle Implementation in ECC 6.x

- Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in implementing/supporting SAP FICO Modules (General ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Fixed Asset, Travel Management, Funds Management, Controlling Modules ( Cost Element Accounting, Profit Center & Cost Center Accounting, Internal Order, Product Costing and Profitability Analysis.

- ERP: SAP ECCE HP 5 / 7

- Operating systems Linux / Windows 2012

- RDBMS: Oracle 10g /12c, MS-SQL Server 2012
