The following are the key roles and responsibilities to be taken up by the eWM Architect :
1. Leading the Business Blue Printing Exercise for the eWM implementation at Green Field Production facility.
2. Accountable for solution design and implementation in accordance to the Business Blue Print.
3. Working centrally with the development teams for solution designing, architecting and integration; helping and proposing configurations wherever required covering, functional Specification development and guiding the development team in Technical design and Specification creation.
4. Leading and performing the configuration of the eWM.
5. Integration interface design, configuration and development supports.
6. Functional and technical consulting on usage / workarounds, Issue resolutions
7. Ensure successful delivery of the functional and technical delivery of the EWM implementation as per the understanding with client - including interfaces with other applications as per project requirement
8. Providing with the necessary technical know-how and assist on the project estimates in terms of time, scope and resources once the blue print exercise is completed
9. Ensure a risk mitigation plan is in place and develop a course correction plan in liaison with the program management team in case of project not being able to proceed as per blue print/original project plan
10. Plan, Manage and deliver the overall on-site implementation including Testing data creations, User Training, UAT, Transition between project and operational teams by travelling to the site as and when required.
11. SOP documentation (Including Exception Handling), Production Support User Manual Creation.
The candidate for eWM architect role should have following experience and capabilities:
1. Hands on experience of leading min 4 - 5 End to End implementations of SAP eWM as Technical Architect.
2. In depth understanding on eWM interface and ECC dependencies for dependent flows covering SD/MM/PP/FICO/WM
3. Experience of Yard Management and TM
4. Must have exposure to MFS and Telegram based integration with Industrial Automation systems and digital / Smart Factory systems.
5. Good at Evaluating the process and determining the Gaps in the standard functionalities provide by the eWM.
6. Proficient with MS office and good at documenting the business process and solutions.
7. Solution Design Approach for problems shared by customer.
8. Record of successful distribution and logistics management
9. Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
10. Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
11. Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
12. Good to have certification in Supply Chain
