PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:

The Global Early Career Talent Attraction Organization drives the execution of SAP's People Strategy by attracting, hiring, and onboarding the best and most diverse students, graduates, and talent with up to 3 years of experience, who look to start their career in one of the best companies in the world.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:

The Early Career Talent Attraction Regional Lead is responsible for the recruiting of students, graduates, and talent with up to 3 years of experience. They own and execute the hiring strategy of their region, together with their team and stakeholders.

- Partner closely with senior leadership and hiring managers on the planning and execution of regional recruiting and conversion strategies for a variety of roles and key programs toward target goals

- Work closely aligned with HRBPs and HR Advisors, Market Unit Heads, Total Rewards, Employer Branding, University Alliances, D&I, Recruiting Operations, Talent Attraction, and other SAP colleagues for the most competitive talent attraction strategy and candidate experience

- Serve as a thought leader and expert, providing consultation, data, and reporting while staying abreast of industry trends, labor supply and demand, and business knowledge

- Embrace inclusion, lead and develop team members on their professional growth via, but not limited to, coaching, mentoring, planning and goal setting, performance discussions, conflict resolution, and others

- Plan and manage budget and resources effectively while ensuring the recruiting team follows standard processes and adopts global tools and platforms that will contribute to a diverse and broader pool of qualified candidates

- Assist with defining, tracking, and analyzing talent attraction metrics to monitor performance and take necessary preventive, corrective, and/or innovative action

- Own, organize and/or participate in local events (career fairs, lectures, webinars, on-site events, etc) with a focus on long-term engagement, target universities, diverse candidates, innovative collaboration, and others

- Lead key project initiatives with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team

- Thorough time-management and prioritization skills; adept at navigating multiple tasks, deadlines, and projects

- Excellent communication skills, both with candidates and internal stakeholders; proactive in delivering necessary messaging and escalating issues as needed

- Capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment

- Proficient in event planning/management and budget/PO/IO management

- Strong business acumen; understanding the skills best suited for a successful hire

- Deep understanding of early career talent recruiting - from students to talent with up to 3 years of experience

- Comfortable thinking outside the box to source and hire for difficult-to-place roles; practice innovative solutions to help team troubleshoot challenges

- Capable of leading virtual teams in multiple countries to successful execution. Cultural sensitivity is a must.

- Excellent English and local language skills.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

- At least 12 years' experience thereof at least 6 years in an HR role as an HRBP, Project Manager/PMO, or Talent Attraction professional

- Extensive experience in HR programs and processes

- Ideally work experience gathered across regions
