SAP CAR Consultant - IT

Job Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP CAR (Customer Activity Repository) Consultant to join our team. The SAP CAR Consultant will play a pivotal role in defining and designing various integrations between different legacy PoS systems to SAP CAR solutions via SAP PI/PO . The successful candidate must have a deep understanding of SAP CAR, strong technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively to meet business objectives.

Responsibilities :

- SAP CAR Integration: Strong knowledge of CAR configuration and integration including system setup, configuration, and integration with other SAP and non-SAP systems.

- Configuration and Customization: Configure SAP CAR modules to meet specific business requirements and perform necessary customizations as needed.

- Data Integration: Design and oversee the integration of data from various sources into SAP CAR, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.

- Data Modeling: Develop and maintain data models within SAP CAR to support real-time analytics and reporting.

- Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks and system issues to ensure optimal SAP CAR performance.

- Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve technical issues, errors, and system glitches in SAP CAR.

- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system configurations, customizations, integration.

- Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans to ensure the functionality and reliability of SAP CAR solutions and integration.

- User Training and Support: Provide training to end-users and technical support teams to ensure they can effectively use and maintain SAP CAR.

- Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with SAP CAR developments, best practices, and industry trends to propose and implement improvements.

- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, integration team and project managers, to align SAP CAR solutions with business needs.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's degree preferred).

- Proven experience as an SAP CAR Consultant or in a similar role with at least 7+ years of SAP CAR experience.

- Strong knowledge of SAP CAR architecture, configuration, integration and data modeling.

- Proficiency in SAP CAR modules, including Point-of-Sale (POS) Data Transfer, Audit Compliance, and Real-Time Data Management.

- Experience with SAP S4HANA and SAP BW integration.

- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- SAP certification in relevant modules is a plus.
