SAP BI/BOBJ Consultant

Skill Set: BI / BOBJ

Primary Skills:

- Good with BusinessObjects report development and “LiveOffice” functionality.

- Good understanding of SAP BW.

- Prior BOBJ development experience on SAP BW is essential.

Job Details: Key responsibilities are listed below:

- S/He will own the development of Business Objects content and PowerPoint decks.

- Work with BI Architect on initial design and proto-typing for PowerPoint presentations, Excel models and Web Intelligence reports.

- Development of Universe and Web Intelligence reports.

- Development of PowerPoint Decks and Excel Models Assist with UAT and deployment efforts.

- Help prepare training material for power user and development team.

- Working on the latest release SAP Business Objects XI 3.1 .

- Expertise in SAP Business Objects XI 3.1/XIR2 suite of product (Designer, Web Intelligence, Desktop Intelligence, CMC).

- Competency in designing efficient and business friendly Universes and creating complex reports against different data sources (RDBMS, OLAP (SAP BI/MSAS) and Stored Procedures).

- Extensively involved in Universe Performance optimization by utilizing features like Aggregate awareness, Shortcut joins and Index awareness.

- Extensively involved in resolving loops using aliases and contexts.

- Experience using multiple data providers.

- Good BO XI Security Concepts.

- Extensively involved in managing Universe Security by creating restriction sets at the Universe Level.

- Extensively involved in Quality assurance of Universes and Reports.

- Exposure of creating Dashboards using Crystal Xcelsius 2008.

- Well versed in Data warehousing and modeling concepts.
