SAP BASIS Consultant - Biotech/Pharma

An Indian Biotech/Pharma conglomerate is looking for SAP Consultants.

Position: Deputy Manager

Qualifications: MCA/BE/MBA; SAP Certification (Added)

Total Experience:

- 5 years + experience in SAP Basis Module.

- Experience of at least 1 end to end overall SAP implementation.

Skills:

- Installing, Monitoring & Testing of SAP ECC, Net Weaver components (Enterprise Portal, Process Integration (PI), Business Intelligence (BI)).

- Experience on structural & standard SAP security authorizations.

- Experience researching SAP issues through OSS (application, evaluation & testing OSS Note / Hot Pack applications).

- Experience on SAP roles & profiles build & test, SAP Clients Management, SAP router configuration, Audit requirements etc.

- Understanding of Central User Administration architecture, supporting multiple hardware server platforms and operating systems.

- Competency in use of Solution Manager for Root causes analysis, Operational and Application life cycle management.

- Competency in SAP Data management and archiving configuration/administration.

- Competency in SAP workflow configuration/administration.

- Experience supporting end-user community, working with vendors to resolve hardware and software problems (Problem diagnosis & forming solution on high complex platform) with defined SLAs.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Ensure the SAP technical/Net Weaver architecture meets business platform requirements. Manage incoming technical requests from functional teams.

- Monitor and maintain SAP systems environments for optimum performance and be proactive in identifying potential problems (environments include Sandbox, Development, QA and Production).

- Perform core Basis functions (e.g. authorizations, roles, profiles, support packs, kernels, transports etc.).

- Perform activities like Client export import , Remote client copy , Client deletion , Index rebuilding for corrupted index etc.

- Responsible for ensuring desired Backup, Recovery and DR drills. Responsible for High Availability and Disaster Recovery.

- Demonstrate strong project management skills driving work through a matrix delivery and support organization.

- Post Go-Live of SAP implementation, responsible for setting up support model to provide effective SLA based support to end users.
