SAP - ABAP Consultant

An Indian Biotech/Pharma conglomerate is looking for SAP Consultant

Position: Deputy Manager

Qualifications: MCA/BE; SAP ABAP Certification (Added)

Total Experience:

- 5 years + experience as application programmer in the ABAP Language.

- Experience with SAP Script, EAI tools, SAP XI, SAP PI, SAP Solution Manager is an advantage.

- Should have gone through least 1 full ERP lifecycle implementation.

Skills:

- Has extensive knowledge and skill in ABAP programming, SAP data dictionary and file structures, SAP ADI, ALE and in customizing iDocs, BAPI’s and interface using RFC calls.

- Proficiency in ABAP Technologies - ABAP Workbench, ABAP Data Dictionary, Report Programming, Web dynpro ABAP, OO ABAP, Data Migration, Screen Programming, Authorizations.

- Experience with MM, PO, FI/CO, AP and Banking modules of SAP. Understanding of Integration between SAP modules.

- Experience in Workflows, Performance Tuning, Database Updates, Enhancements & Modifications

- Should possess good understanding of SAP Architecture. Experience on large complex projects.

- Experience in use of Solution Manager for Root causes analysis, Operational and Application life cycle management.

- Experience supporting end-user community, working with vendors to resolve hardware and software problems with defined SLAs.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain programs to enhance the assigned application module using the SAP development tools (ABAP, SAP Script, iDocs, BAPI, RFC).

- Collaborate with the SAP Project Management, Business and Systems Analysts and user departments to develop specifications for system enhancements for continuous functional improvement.

- Develop Test Plans and automated scripts to assure expected performance quality levels meet standards in development efforts.

- Responsible for imparting the end user training & Post Go-Live end user support.
