Lead: Strategic Planning & Projects will play an important role in working with Vaccines Country GM and leadership team to ensure success of new operating model & deliver on market leadership ambition. The position requires an analytical mindset, intellectual curiosity, outcome focus to work in cross functional team and deliver results. The person should have good communication skills to have frequent, direct interactions with internal experts (Zone/Region/Global) and country teams. Role requires analytical skills, ability to innovate, communicate and can influence a broader set of stakeholders.
Main responsibilities:
The primary purpose of this position is to support Vaccines, India GM and Leadership team in strategizing and planning Vaccines India roadmap. Enable outcome driven, performance led functioning of the affiliate.
This position will lead:
1. New product planning & launch excellence for key Vaccines launches
2. Key transformation projects
3. Monthly/Quarterly submissions & deliverables to Asia Zone, International region
4. Vaccines, India Governance and Priority setting
This position will support: T1, T2, Budget planning, business & strategic planning submissions.
Key Accountability:
Assist Vaccines, India GM in monthly, Quarterly as well as long-range planning (% of time - 30)
- Responsible for monthly performance assessment and submission to Asia Zone, International region
- Responsible for presentations/analysis for key internal & external stakeholders
- Ensure outcome driven, performance focused Governance
- Define, develop and track key priorities for the affiliate
- Assist with internal business reviews
- Support operational improvements for enhanced functional integration, harmonizing efforts & outcomes
Lead New Product Planning (% of time - 25)
1. Responsible for launch excellence and brand plan development
2. Work with Cross functional teams to define Medical, Regulatory, Market access pathways
Lead Vaccines, India transformational Project(s)(% of time - 25)
Work with Vaccines leadership and cross-functional team to define, scope, execute and track key Vaccines transformation projects.
Support Budget, business, strategic planning & other business reviews(% of time - 20)
- Work in close collaboration with involved functions (Business operations, Commercial lead, Finance, Marketing) to ensure timely deliverables and submissions
- Assist with internal and above country (Asia Zone, International region) business reviews
Dimensions/Scope
Main Relationships:
- Main Internal stakeholders: Country GM, heads of function (Marketing, Finance, HR, Medical, Business Operations, Supply chain and Commercial Leads). Cross functional project teams
- Asia Zone team, Global Brand teams
About you :
Experience :
- Bachelor's degree required; MS/MBA preferred
- Pharma industry experience, if possible (not mandatory)
- Experience in Strategy consulting, Marketing, and project management responsibility in local and global environments
- Experience working in Agile environment is a plus.
- Some experience in vaccines preferred (not mandatory)
- Cross functional, transversal team management experience preferred
- Fluent in English

- Strategy, Project execution, Marketing, and financial knowledge
- Strong analytical capabilities, Data visualization and storytelling experience
