JD - SSIR - Organization & Leadership Development
You will be responsible for creating and delivering solutions around Leadership, Culture & Organization Development. This will include diagnosis of issues within intact teams or with individual leaders, creating assessment and development solutions for them, program managing, implementing them and measuring their impact. Your work will enable and support culture change in the organization. Additionally, you will be expected to build a strong connect with, earn trust and appropriately coach mid- & senior-level leaders.
Typically, a day in your life would include some or many of the following tasks:
- Meeting a business leader to understand challenges they face - or just give a patient ear to support the leader
- Giving coaching/feedback to a senior leader based on the 360 feedback exercise you initiated
- Assisting an HR Business Partner colleague with a tricky skip-level feedback session
- A couple of hours spent on the design for your upcoming intervention with the 20-member XYZ team which came in as a special request
- Meeting with the MD to share & receive sign-off on the individual feedback & development plans for the leadership team
- Collaborating / Influencing stakeholders across the SSIR leadership team to gain support for your initiative
- Collaborating with your L&D colleagues on a new program being created for the general employee population
- Co-facilitate with SME to be certified to deliver an existing program
- Review the plan with HR team members for an upcoming intervention this week
- A meeting with the larger HR team to share updates, bounce off ideas and generally catch-up
- A meeting with a specialized organizational Task Force looking at creating better employee engagement within the organization
This isn't a limited list. Additionally, there will be opportunities to
- sharpen facilitation skills through the delivery of existing learning programs, in addition to custom-designed interventions
- participate in activities to build your influence in the larger organization
- participate in activities to better enable the larger HR team
A suitable candidate will have
- MBA in HR or equivalent
- 8-10 years of proven Leadership & Org Development experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Exposure to an array of OD frameworks & methodology
- Certification in behavioral assessments (preferred)
- Ability to work independently
- Curiosity to Understand technology and the industry dynamics
- Program management skills
- Ability to inspire trust and build meaningful rapport
