Our CSR consulting practice has worked with several Fortune 100 companies to shape their CSR strategy, facilitate program implementation, run cause-related marketing campaigns and assess impact created.
We also work with donor agencies, foundations and philanthropists on high-impact social programs entailing capacity building, research, events and fundraising campaigns.

The Opportunity :
- India is going through an inflection point in terms of Philanthropy and Corporate Social responsibility.
- The recently introduced Company's Act 2013 mandates all profitable companies to have a clear CSR policy and a plan to implement the same, hence it is estimated that 6,000 companies will need to invest INR 20,000 crores in various CSR activities.
- We see a very clear role for a firm like ours to partner the new entrants in this field and help them with not just ideas but also a very clear map of execution. The candidate will get exposure to end to end cycle of CSR projects.
- We currently facilitate various projects in sectors like healthcare, education, livelihoods, water, and sanitation. The role involves coordinating with consulting, innovation, implementation, senior management team and customers to understand customer / donor requirements and develop impactful customer & donor proposals. This is an exciting opportunity to make strategic social impact.
Key responsibilities :
- Client Outreach, Management and Acquisition
- Lead the Business development effort for a set of Key Accounts in Mumbai / Delhi / Bangalore
- Own the entire Sales cycle - Generate leads and close sales deals and deliver the Sales and Revenue numbers as per agreed business plans.
- Establish new relationships, sales network and win new business for Samhita's services
- Build and maintain relationship with existing and prospecting clients
- Prepare presentations, proposals and marketing material that reflect the needs of the client
- Lead proposal development process by engaging with Consulting, Innovation, Implementation and Senior Management team
- After conversion of the client, handover the client account to the relevant team and support them to translate the pitch into action
- Act as a liaison between the operational teams and key client contacts
Development and Capacity Building :
- Develop Partnership with NGOs and Social Enterprises in key sectors
- Manage, mentor and develop a team of associates to ensure high quality outcomes and target achievement
- Learning about Samhita's practice areas; contributing insightful ideas and strategy
Qualification and Experience :
- Bachelors / Master degree in development sector or any other stream
- 3 - 6 years of Account Management and Sales experience with proven track record
- Demonstrated experience in gathering and transforming customer needs into a solution
- Oriented to social impact: Experience of developing and managing a diverse set of relationships,
- Considerable work / volunteering experience in the social sector
Desired competencies :
- Ability to independently drive discussions with CFO/ CSR/HR Heads
- Ability to lead the Delivery of some of the projects, if required
- Ability to represent Samhita at various forums whenever required
- Attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong writing, analytical and research skills
- Needs to have excellent Communication Skills and good networking ability
- Ability to work in a multi- disciplinary, ownership driven environment as part of a closely-knit team
