Key responsibilities :
- Define a people agenda and strategy based on Samhita's overall mission and strategy.
- Identify the organizational capabilities and talent that Samhita needs to develop given the above, working closely with the leadership team.
- Develop and implement people policies and processes covering all aspects of attracting, developing and retaining talent based on the capabilities required.
- With the leadership team, and given Samhita's mission, define and implement the pillars of the desired culture of the organization.
- Engage with employees constantly to have a good feel of the pulse of the organization continuously.
- Ensure adherence to labor legislation that applies to Samhita.
- Ensure implementation of people processes for smooth administrative operations of HR policies.
Qualification and experience :
- 8- 10 years of working in Human Resources having exposure to defining the people agenda of an organization OR managing a people intensive business with good understanding of people: aspirations, motivations, capabilities etc.
- Should have experience of defining and implementing processes that have enabled attraction, development and retention of talent.
- Exposure to social sector preferred.
