General Manager - Marketing (Roles & Responsibilities)

This role will be responsible for market development through devising and executing marketing and demand generation programs in target markets and shall be responsible for:

- Plan and develop demand generation program for entire range

- Drive sales volume through generating adequate leads and prospects.

- Day-to-day execution and monitoring of the demand generation plan

- Ensuring all marketing investments can be tracked and measured.

- Develop campaign content that is solution based and focused on customer and market needs.

- Manage day-to-day Marketing operations including campaigns, content development, and reporting & analysis.

- Measure program effectiveness

- Produce campaign recap summaries (display performance metrics, net new leads, conversion rates, etc.). Identify and initiate new campaigns and new opportunities for existing campaigns based on analysis of past performance.

- Work closely with the Operations and Sales teams to ensure all leads are correctly routed and followed up on in a timely manner.

- Manage budget

- Develop and execute short term market development strategies

Qualifications & Skills:

The candidate should have good knowledge about rural market, rural customer buying behaviour, experience in marketing and lead/demand generation campaigns, preferably with B2C experience.

- 10+ years experience in marketing and demand generation (program creation, execution, and measurement)

- Proven track record in a fast paced environment and organizational skills to manage multiple projects with flawless execution.

- Graduate/Post Graduate in Agriculture domain preferred (Engineering/Non Engineering)
