Amazon Seller Services India offers services to sellers to grow multi-channel commerce. As a BDM for the Amazon trained e commerce specialists (ATES) Program, you will have the exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy for Amazon's India venture - www.amazon.in. We are a smart team of doers that work passionately to empower third party sellers of India by enabling them to sell on Amazon.in. This is first of its kind of initiative for Amazon.in, something that hasn- t been built in any other market across the globe - hence the role is entrepreneurial in nature.

- As a Business Development Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to help promote the growth and shape the future of ATES program.

- Your responsibilities will include increasing program adoption, and market penetration. Working in a dynamic sales environment you will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying and recruiting individual entrepreneurs who will recruit and service third party sellers for Amazon.in.

- The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-tasked, high energy environment with an ability to deal with ambiguity.

- Candidate should possess both a business development and account management background that enables him or her to drive engagement with respective stakeholders.

- He/she should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan.

- This role provides opportunities to develop original ideas, approaches, and solutions in a competitive and ever changing business climate.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Impact market segment share by acquiring and onboarding new sellers on Amazon.in.

- Develop and execute against a comprehensive BD plan to exceed set business objectives.

- Create & articulate compelling value propositions around ATES services.

- Accelerate program adoption and work with stakeholders to extend reach & drive adoption.

- Develop long-term strategic relationships with key stakeholders.

- Draft various business reports

- Expect moderate travel.

Basic Qualifications :

- 4+ years of business development experience

- Track record of meeting and exceeding business established goals

- Proficiency in the use of email, with strong written and verbal communications skills

- Professional, ambitious, determined and results oriented mind set

- Positive attitude, team oriented, self-starter who can work alone and in a collaborative manner to achieve team goals

- Basic knowledge of ecommerce and sales experience with SAAS a bonus

- Graduate in any discipline a must

Preferred Qualifications :

- Master's Degree in relevant field

- Familiarity with the Amazon brand and shopping experience
