We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Lead with a passion for new business acquisition and a track record of success in sales within the IT consulting and services domain. The Sales Lead will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities ("new logos") to expand client portfolio and market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to identify and target potential new clients ("new logos") within the financial services industry.
- Engage in prospecting and networking activities to generate leads and build a robust sales pipeline.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations.
- Conduct presentations and negotiations at an executive level, articulating value proposition effectively.
- Work closely with the marketing team to leverage campaigns, events, and other initiatives for lead generation.
- Collaborate with pre-sales, technical, and delivery teams to ensure the proposal of comprehensive and tailored solutions to prospective clients.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
- Meet and exceed sales targets for new business acquisition, ensuring a healthy contribution to growth.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, opportunities, and forecasts using CRM tools.
- Provide feedback and insights from the market to internal teams, contributing to the continuous improvement of services and solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales within the IT consulting and services industry, with a focus on financial services.
- Proven track record of acquiring new logos and achieving sales targets.
- Solid understanding of the financial services industry, including key trends, challenges, and regulatory environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a network of industry contacts.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinker with a strong business acumen and the ability to close deals.
- Self-motivated and able to operate independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and events.
