Experience:
- Minimum sales experience of at least 5 years.
- At least 2 years experience in VOIP is a must.
- At least 5-7 years working within a sales environment preferably in a proactive telemarketing role within the telecoms (or related) industry.
- Reseller sales experience would be preferred.
- Experience in online marketing sales and new business development sales preferred.
- Experience in consultative sales approach.
- Direct experience selling for a channel partner considered a plus.
- Proven record of exceeding established revenue quotas in channel development or via direct end-user sales is a must.
- Proven industry contacts and relationships is required
- Experience in selling emerging technology and evangelizing emerging markets or products is required
Job Description:
- Develop a prospect base of channel partners - Service resellers, ISPs, and other appropriate strategic resellers and users.
- Generate new leads through outbound calling efforts on prospects identified as potentially needing our product offering. (Includes contacting the active in-house prospect list).
- Take 100% ownership for initial stages of sales development cycle: new business research, preliminary needs assessment/analysis and initial introduction and online product demonstrations.
- Develop expertise in Channel Development Tools including initial contact scripts, follow up communications, and business process and margin importance for resellers.
- Actively build, manage and report on sales pipeline build up using Sugar CRM
- Collect in-depth prospect information for subsequent consultative sales stages.
- Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific product offers.
- Deliver reseller messaging and awareness to channel partner prospects through various communication vehicles such as email blasts and phone call prospecting- inbound and outbound
- Demonstrate product and competitive advantages of the solution via webinar and onsite presentations
- Work closely with the marketing team to achieve sales objectives
- Maintain daily sales and productivity records. Present weekly performance against sales targets in Company meetings.
- Build strong relationships with prospects through regular and systematic follow up and contact programs.
- Liaise effectively with all departments within the company to ensure customer requirements are met
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
