Position Title: Sr. Sales Manager/DGM/AGM-Steel Industries.

Location : Dapodi, Pune.

Client Name : Grauer and weil.

Responsibility:.

Sales Strategy Development:.

- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and exceed sales targets (Annual Sales Quota of INR 50 Crores+).

- Identify key accounts, markets, and sectors within the steel industry for targeting capital projects.

- Negotiate contracts and agreements to close sales and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

Customer Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the steel industry.

- Understand customer needs and requirements to propose suitable capital project solutions.

Techno-Commercial Expertise:

- Possess a sound understanding of capital projects relevant to the steel manufacturing process, including but not limited to equipment upgrades, plant expansions, and technology integration.

- Articulate technical specifications and benefits to customers effectively.

Market Analysis and Intelligence:

- Stay updated with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities.

- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and refine sales strategies accordingly.

Collaboration and Coordination:

- Work closely with internal teams including proposals, engineering, project management, and finance to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.

- Coordinate with technical experts to provide comprehensive solutions to customers.

Reporting and Forecasting:

- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to track progress and provide insights for decision-making.

- Utilize CRM systems to maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline management.

Industry: Engineering

Key Skills:

- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

- Post-Graduation in Management would be helpful but not necessary.

- Proven experience of min. 7 years+ in direct B2B sales within the capital projects sector, specifically targeting the steel industry.

- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

- Adept at interacting at senior management levels and closing single order greater than INR 10 Crores. independently.

- Strong aptitude and ability to understand & articulate technical solutions.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

- Ability to travel as needed and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
