Looking for Sales Manager SAARC role based at Mumbai for our FMCG client .
Educational Qualification : MBA from premier institute (2008/2009 passed outs) .
Job Location : Mumbai
Reporting to : Head SAARC
Key Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be responsible for following activities:
- Deliver topline and bottom-line for the region in line with AOP/LRP. Manage the overall P&L
- Business Development / Exports:- Will be responsible for business development and brand growth in newly opened geographies in South Asia. Work with business partners to expand sales & marketing footprint of brands and achieve agreed annual business plans. Monitor and report competitive intelligence.
- Sales Management: Establish and drive retailing and wholesale sales across brands
- Key Account Management: Manage large Distribution Partner relationships at the top management levels
- Category/ Function Understanding:- Planning of approaches, analytics, tactics and offers for specific transactions with individual customers. Develop inn-depth knowledge of the consumer preference and competitors. Grow our brands in the competitive market environment
- Project Management & Execution:-Constructing of a detailed market/customer business plan to match production and logistics capabilities that will meet the volume, profit and turnover requirements of both the company and the customer
- Team Management:-Manage the relevant team resources allocated to this business.
External Interactions:
- High Coordination - advertising, research & PR agencies, distribution partners, RM/PM suppliers, P2P
- Government agencies, bankers, corporates, law firms, Modern Trade
Skill & Experience:
- 5-7 years of FMCG experience in sales and marketing functions
- Good commercial acumen and strong analytics
- A business/ distribution set-up experience will be an added advantage
- Should have handled new product development & launches
- Hands-on experience, entrepreneur approach, passion & self-drive
- Good communication skills
- International Experience will be a plus
Experience in SAARC countries preferred ( Bhutan, Bangladesh,Nepal, Myanmar, Srilanka,Combodia,etc.)
