1. Accountability for achieving set - UK Region for approximately 52 products,

It involves working with global sales & marketing colleagues to develop, shape, implement and achieve regional sales & marketing goals. In addition, be a key interface to the functional resources of the organization - production, supply chain, sales, marketing, procurement, technical, and regulatory.
JOB PROFILE
1. Marketing & Business Dev activities in UK ( As per countries assigned) Region
2. Developing Strategy, tactics, Sales plan and profit target, documentation in - coordination with Head office India.
3. Annual Business Planning, Budget and Monitoring, Promotion, pricing strategy for Kumar's product and trading products
4. Co-ordination for regulatory requirements like MOH Registration, REACH,DMF, Biocide Directive etc
5. Export Market Development, Dealer distributor network - To support sales team, agents and distributors with marketing & technical tools.
6. Increasing market share in existing markets & maximize new business development opportunities.
7. Identifying and reporting on Business opportunities in the target region
8. Promotion of the product and providing Technical support Services to customer
10. Achieving targets for Revenue, Profitability and sales growth.
11. Responding to tenders and requests for information in a timely manner.
12. Monitoring customer orders, Invoice; dispatch and shipment etc
13. Market Research : Identification & development of potential customers; maintaining customer & competitors database of the Region
14. Team building and providing direction to team
15. Exhibiting & Participating in International Trade shows & Exhibitions.
16. Following the statutory requirement and submission of Intra-stat & other Government procedures.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Breakdown of Duties & Responsibilities :
Business Development (40%)
1. Product pricing and margin management; i.e. pricing strategy, applied pricing models, costs analysis, and budget planning
2. Understand the regional market structure's economics, growth, trends, opportunities, value chain, customers and competitive environment.
3. Implement and manage the regional development, and commercial strategies for product portfolio; i.e. product positioning and business plan (AOP) development and execution.
4. Guide the sales force relative to product pricing and positioning, contract negotiations, competitive/market information, crisis management, customer/product action plans, and customer communications to align with the business/product strategies.
5. Actively drive continuous improvements of cost, production, quality, supply chain, and service levels focused on competitiveness, financial performance, and operational excellence.
6. Drive Product Portfolio Management; including, launch, repositioning, quality, packaging, management of change, and withdrawal. Support innovation process for product portfolio.
7. Represent the business as key interface with the customer care, manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, R&D, and Regulatory organizations to successfully deliver business plan targets.
8. Follow up on new leads and opportunities, prioritize projects and commercialize projects to achieve sales growth each year.
9. Actively manage distribution network including identifying and selecting the right distribution partners, financial target setting, training and technical service as needed to help them succeed.
Sales (30%)
1. Identify, negotiate, and close new opportunities for all products
2. Understand market trends and customer needs, applying this knowledge to key customer targets
3. Develop and implement strategic account-specific plans to build customer relationships and business
4. Existing account maintenance and business growth
5. Price negotiations with all customers in territory
6. Implementation of customer differentiation and business rules
7. Support the organic growth of the Product portfolio in the Personal Care, Cosmetics and Coatings segment
8. Opportunity Management - Actively manage all territory new business opportunities and activities within CRM database and SPANCO. As required, report out/up each opportunity's status. Drive opportunities to closure in collaboration with relevant functions (Marketing, Product Management, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Legal, etc.) and in concert with overarching business strategies. To follow Fippon for all activities customer calls, in person meeting and sales/marketing promotion etc.
9. Administrative - Maintain accuracy of product/customer forecasts and remedy variances as requested. Submit internal reports (account Plans, call reports & monthly updates) as required including reporting of any key intelligence data collected, monthly sales projections. Comply with annual budgeting activities. Consistently utilize CRM in conjunction with business team needs. Fulfill territory obligations in strict observance of travel and budget.
10. Increase market intelligence by bringing information around industries, competitors and customers back into the organization
Marketing (20%)
1. Relationship Management - Maintain and develop relationships with customers and distributors at different organizational levels. Align customer needs with KOPL's capabilities in order to yield economically sustainable value growth. Represent KOPL professionally at industry events (exhibitions, conferences and customer meetings.
2. Strategic Alignment - Enable the business team's short, medium, and long-term objectives for accounts, applications, channels, and markets. Work closely with marketing to align marketing strategies within the individual business segments.
3. Completing extensive market research and recommending ideas for product development to the R&D dept, as well as securing advertising placements in suitable print and online media.
4. Represents Company at Trade fairs & Association meetings to promote product.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Team Development (10%)
Drive and support team talent development, training, and skill refinement so as to enable their success in meeting business objectives.
Staff recruitment, selection and development to achieve company goals & objectives.
