JOB DESCRIPTION

Main Duties

Sales

1. To undergo trainings both in India and overseas to support the PCI sales team and customers with knowhow and product application.

2. To promote and establish products of all suppliers

3. To identify, develop and introduce products of new agencies from time to time.

4. To attend exhibitions local and overseas whenever necessary.

5. Visit customers to enhance business, understand customer’s needs and coordinate accordingly with suppliers

6. To update market research and information on sales trends and/or competitive products and market changes

7. Extensive travel within India and neighboring countries to support the PCI sales team in achieving its targets.

8. Jointly visit with PCI team members and interact with the customers with the full range of products.

9. Jointly visit with overseas suppliers whenever necessary

10. Preparation of monthly reports in DKSH format

11. Maintaining database of products, suppliers and customers.

12. Polite and ethical presentation to suppliers and customers

13. Maintaining strict confidentiality at all times of products, pricing, suppliers, projects and any other information relating to the Company.

14. Any other responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time by the Local Business Line and Global PCI Management.

New Business Development

1. Assist the business Line Head in screening suppliers as potential business partners.

2. Participate in special tasks aimed at strengthening and enhancing relationships with both local and global PCI counterparts

Administrative Functions

1. Ensures availability of all documents pertinent to meeting regulatory guidelines and legislation

Skills :

1. Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal).

2. Basic computer skills (MS Office and Internet).

3. Interpersonal skills.

4. Sales reporting

5. New Product summary preparation & reporting

6. Customer visit

7. Business development
