Sales Manager - Organised Retail - FMCG/Foods Industry

We are currently looking for a Sales Manager- Organised Retail with one the top Foods/ FMCG Distribution cos in the Singapore. This is an international assignment to be based at Singapore.

Our client is one of the top FMCG distribution cos of Singapore. They are the top distributors of Indian FMCG and Food products in Singapore. The company distributes a portfolio of strong brands and has leading market shares in all product categories. They have an experienced and skilled team to meet or exceed the expectations of their stake holders. Their sales and Marketing teams provide solid marketing support to the brands they distribute.

Job Profile:

- Established the company's business in the retail and wholesale space at stores like Cold Storage, Giant & FairPrice, Sheng Siong, 7 eleven, etc.

- Develop comprehensive Route to Market Plans for launch/re-launch of brands

- Work closely with sales team to ensure achievement of desired distribution & visibility objectives & speed to shelf

- Take necessary actions to resolve clients- operational issues/ service complaints

- Plan routes, set and monitor sales & distribution targets, submit reports and train and motivate the team

- Suggest and plan BTL marketing activities and ensure implementation in the field (POS, FSU's ) etc.

- Work closely with sales team to ensure top class implementation of key promotional activities

- Devised strategies to increase shelf space, product visibility at stores like Cold Storage, Giant & FairPrice, Sheng Siong, 7 eleven, etc.

- Responsible for channel penetration (extended distribution reach to cover food courts, dormitory and online stores

Language Skills: Fluency in English and Tamil is a must.

Education : Degree in business/marketing related disciplines, MBA preferred.

Work experience : At least 5-8 years of relevant working experience in the FMCG industry, preferably in food products. Should have good Knowledge of FMCG Sales & Distribution management and organised retailing & Modern trade.

Job Location : Singapore

Salary: Around Rs. 30.0-35.0 Lpa + benefits like company Car, bonuses and commissions.
