Job Designation: Sales Manager Distribution Services
Reporting to: Director Sales - West Asia
Dotted line to: Director of Distribution Services - RAP
Ready to travel (about 50 % within India and occasionally beyond)
Experience & Qualification:
Must have University degree preferably in chemical engineering or equivalent with Master in Post Graduate or M.B.A equivalent education.
10 -15 years of experience in a specialty chemical distribution company (sales and product management).
Objectives of the job
- Define and agree on objectives and strategies to develop and maintain a sustainable & profitable distribution business in West Asia.
- Attracting and adding new principals who can complement company's business. Through regular and effective communication, ensure principal satisfaction.
- Develop and strengthen overall company's distribution product portfolio
- Promotion and distribution of existing / new products in West Asia
- Market Research / Market Intelligence System and reports generation
- Performance Measurement
- Sales (Price, Volume, Terms)
- Gross Profit of Distribution Product Portfolio
- Percentage of new distribution business / total distribution sales
- Account receivables
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing end-to-end Distribution services across West Asia
- Distribution product inventory (Shared with Operations & SCM)
- Deliver overall Business Operations and the Productivity/Targets of the distributors, partners
- Maintain high level contact and involvement in decision making with all principals and manage their expectations
- Responsible for Developing marketing strategies and business plans for the existing customer, create database of prospects & plan to cover the same.
- Responsible for planning and executing activity for creating awareness among customers. Appoint, Organize and lead product training for new and existing principals as required.
- Reporting to ensure effective communication between the company's Management, Sales Team and Segments.
- You will be Implementing sales and marketing strategies for acquiring new distribution business across West Asia.
- Ensure adequate monitoring and reporting of competitive activity.
- Recommend and analyse possible M&A targets.
- Regular prices assessment for Distribution products to get best price levels considering exchange rates and ocean freights.
- Work together with sales team PAN India basis for establishing application and benefits of company's traded products.
- Support to the local area management and Contribution to achieve Horizon plan 2026
Requirement:
- Should have a go-getter attitude, hardworking and honest.
- Should have a capability to build and manage a trading business, experience in multinational manufacturing company preferable.
- Should possess excellent problem-solving ability to resolve any query.
- Should possess excellent project management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, drive change, and collaborate effectively with a variety of individuals and organizations.
- Superior analytical skills to analyse any scenario in macro and micro perspective.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation and good communication skills both spoken and written are must.
- Should be self-starter, result oriented and a strong bias for execution is mandatory".

- A mature personality with high integrity, modesty, courtesy and perseverance values.
- Computer literate including proficiency in using budgeting tools, spreadsheets, presentations, internet and MS Office.
