We are seeking a dynamic and driven Regional Sales Manager for North India. In this high-impact role, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing relationships with key enterprise, PSU, and government customers, and owning the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closure.
The role requires a proactive and strategic thinker who can work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive sales growth. You will be expected to travel frequently within the region to meet customers and partners in person.
You will prospect and qualify new potential customers within your assigned territory with a hunter mindset and a focus on building a robust sales pipeline. You'll identify and close deals with corporates, PSUs, and central government agencies through face-to-face meetings.
Collaborating with Systems Engineers and internal leadership, you will help educate customers and demonstrate product capabilities while driving both tactical and strategic sales opportunities.
Your responsibilities will include maintaining strong relationships with client decision-makers, understanding customer needs, handling procurement processes, generating proposals, managing pricing, and leading negotiations.
You are expected to stay well-informed about the company's offerings and market trends through ongoing training. Regular status updates, forecasts, and insights on the competitive landscape will be a key part of your reporting responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, with at least 10 years of experience in IT solution sales.
A proven track record of exceeding annual sales quotas, experience with Salesforce CRM, and knowledge of industry-leading sales methodologies are essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
You should also have a strong network in the region and be comfortable traveling up to 50% of the time.
Preferred candidates will bring experience in selling cloud security and enterprise-level solutions in the security and compliance market. Experience with workflow automation, change management systems, and deep relationships with local channel partners and system integrators will be an advantage.
