One of our client is looking for Sales Leader GEO for US & Europe space. The company is a mid-sized IT company having around 4500 employees. The brief JD is given below:
Sales Leader - GEO
Responsibilities:
Business Development Ownership and Responsibility:
- Defining markets and development of sales strategies and a business plan.
- Providing Business development leadership within your region
- Within the Sales Team, ensure up to date knowledge to enable recommendations as to where to prioritise business development.
- Ensure development of a healthy pipeline for both yourself, and the sales team as a whole.
Sales Delivery and Reporting:
- Develop an annual sales plan in conjunction with the Sales team
- Creation of a pipeline of global and pan-European prospects in your area of responsibility
- Coordination of all business development activity within your area of responsibility including, where required, with other regional teams.
- To manage the entire sales life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
- Coordination across Departments:
- Coordinate with Marketing the campaign and communication plan for your internal and external prospect base
- Has the knowledge of onshore-offshore delivery models and the ability to craft propositions containing IPR based business models and multi-site location delivery models
Person's attributes
- Network of CXO contacts at leadership level.
- Background in energy markets, sustainability, utilities, facilities, digital or similar industries.
- Ability to work with technical team to develop customised solutions.
- Commercially astute, excellent negotiation skills with a focus on margin and profit, whilst still demonstrating innovation and a return on investment.
- Capability to understand client requirements and the drivers that affect the company to identify the key constituents of a deal and represent that back into the business.
- Demonstrated experience in solution selling with track record of driving larger and complex deals to close.
- Outstanding professional with proven track record of consistently achieving targets and delivery of good quality business within a B2B environment.
- Self-starter with the drive, energy and determination to develop and execute a strategy.
- Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals.
