Packaged Products comprising Ice Creams (take home packs) and Condiments (Chocolate Fudge, Mustard, Syrups & Sauces) distributed through the modern FMCG network form the cornerstone of the brand's growth strategy. The position demands a passionate and self-motivated professional to lead this profit center.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the position is to build a profitable retail business for Nirula's products across retail outlets, modern trade, and key accounts.
1. Retail Sales and presence (60%)
a. To establish the presence of Nirula's brand and its products within the FMCG network - modern trade, traditional trade, key accounts, and institutions. The key performance indicator shall be to maximize the availability of SKUs within the network.
b. Establish a profitable third-party cold chain & ambient logistics & distribution system
c. Establish profitable product sales including negotiation and standardization of terms (margin, credit & logistics) across channels
d. Effective management of point of sale and promotional tools across outlets to maximize sales
e. Develop key account relationships
2. Relationship Management (30%)
a. Manage key relationships to make Nirula's the brand of choice for the trade.
b. Ensure timely collections & efficient logistics
c. Monitoring SKU sales to ensure growth
3. Team Management (10%)
a. Manage team - direct reports and third party service providers (distributors, agents, cold chain)
b. Collaborative working with other teams. Give input to manufacturing for product and packaging innovations.
Qualifications and Experience
1. Post Graduate from a university of national repute
2. Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in Sales across Modern Trade & Key Accounts in a food FMCG company
3. Good communication & computer skills and ability to withstand a deadline driven environment.
