This role exists to set sales and revenue targets and goals in coordination with dealers and to develop product and brand image amongst retail customers in the assigned zone i.e. Adjacent market-SAARC Countries.
Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for directing achievement of both short and long term Sales growth priorities profitably, in the SAARC Countries. The role will plan the design & deployment of all sales programs and interventions to ensure reach and distribution of our products in the identified markets.
The position is accountable for delivery of operating and strategic plans for adjacent markets
The role will therefore be primarily responsible for:
1. Continuously scanning environment for developments & opportunities in product / category and brand development.
2. Analyze and evaluate adjacent market, regarding sales trends, sales potentials, competition, economic/business conditions, and distributor performance, recommend changes in sales programs and distributorships to make area operation more effective in meeting sales volume quotas.
3. Develop the sales network leveraging existing distribution footprint. Working closely with B2B sales force to drive institutional sales.
4. Inspiring & engaging consultants in NBD to profile & present products to existing & potential customers (specifiers and trade) through timely & detailed communication of product offerings (benefits / features), new product development / launch timelines etc.
5. Develop, deploy and monitor strategies and plans for delivering business growth from adjacent markets.
6. Ensuring adequate selling tools and training is made available to the sales teams in a timely manner.
7. Maintain Company's grasp on the market and competitive situation by providing information on competitor's activities, products, cost and other related information advantageous to the company.
8. Annually prepare for the department an updated strategic plan and financial plan, for the assigned region, taking into consideration the next year, five year and ten-year forecasts. Review and discuss plans with next level management for integration of the plan into the company's overall strategic plan.
